my utopia

The drag queen from this photo has spoken up about the photo.

I won’t speak for all liberals, but I’d like to see a future where it isn’t a big deal for a woman in full modesty garb to sit next to a drag queen in NYC. It’s become a bit of a sensation, but her and I were just existing. The freedom to simply be yourself in a sea of people who aren’t like you is a freedom we all deserve.

The central irony is that this isn’t some hypothetical future–it’s just present day reality. This is a picture of two ordinary people going about their normal lives despite how haters want to politicize it lmao. So the underlying message is not “future liberals want” it’s “people conservatives want to eradicate”

Years ago, you promised your firstborn to a witch. Since then, despite your best efforts, you can’t seem to get laid. The witch is starting to get pretty pissed.

Y’all get together to discuss your options and she starts coaching you on how to get men because she doesn’t want to waste more magic on you without promise of payment. The more time you guys spend together the more you realize you have a bit of a crush on her. Soon you’re sabotaging your dates on purpose to see her again.

Long story short you fall in love and get married and do the sperm donor thing AND YOUR FIRSTBORN IS HERS BY DEFAULT and you live happily ever after. The end.

Baby cries in the middle of the night

Witch: Ughhhhh. It’s your turn.

You: You bought it. You handle it.

That is what I call a fairy tale ending.

why is it that villains and not protagonists are always the ones breaking gender roles hmmmm

it’s called queercoding and it’s intentional and basically brainwashes kids into having negative associations with those traits

it backfired. now i’m just hot for super villains.

hey trans friends

if you need binders/breast forms/makeup/etc but don’t want your parents to know, now is the best time to get it.

you can order whatever it is online and when the package comes in if the ask what it is you can say something like “it’s a secret!” or even just sssh them. they’ll assume it’s a present for whatever holiday you celebrate and probably won’t press the issue.

oh my god this is amazing

I normally don’t reblog stuff like this but this is a very important life hack!

make sure you actually buy a present though or else this is all going to fall apart. it doesn’t have to be expensive, e.g. a “best dad” mug, socks, a bath bomb, multi-tool variations of everyday objects, soap, tea, a candle, et cetera.

November/December, Happy Holidays

Reductress really taking no prisoners today

The best part:

“It’s a common misconception that members of gay relationships have to map onto the roles of a straight couple: woman and asshole,” said Acharya. “But neither of us is the asshole; that’s the entire point.”

Ryser had a number of follow-up questions to this explanation.

“So, if neither of you is the asshole,” said Ryser, “then who plays devil’s advocate when you’re having sensitive political conversations? Who takes the other person’s side when you describe a microaggression? And who gets furious when you’re driving and one of you has to pee?”

Demonstrating immense patience, Acharya tried once more to help Ryser understand.

“None of those things are necessary for a relationship,” said Acharya. “In fact, they’re all bad. People in straight relationships should not do those things either.”

Argentina, cómo me gusta verte crecer 🇦🇷❤

In Mendoza, Argentina, a non-binary person won the fight to change their birth certificate, and now it reads they’re non-binary. They presented all the papers necessary to have the very same change on their DNI (Documento Nacional de Identidad), and is waiting for the new one to arrive.

people who think cis is an acronym crack me up

As a cishet male, it took me a long time to realize that just meant “cisgender heterosexual.”

But if we’re talking acronyms, it could have accurately stood for “cargo-included shorts / hides emotions terribly” as well.

we can forgive you for not knowing what cishet is
but cargo shorts? that is too far

I’m hoping to get a pardon due to extenuating circumstances on this one.

You see, as a white cishet guy who regularly shaves off all my hair, wearing cargo shorts is about the most overt way I can think of to broadcast to everyone in the vicinity:

DO NOT BE ALARMED! THIS HUGE NERD IS OBVIOUSLY NOT A SKINHEAD!

wait… what does trans stand for then?

They stand for each other and for a world without fear

Flavoracle definitely has a third eye and it’s wide open honey

activists at barnard college providing “labels”, photographed by susan rennie and published in off our backs: a women’s newsjournal vol. 3 no. 6, february 1973

Black an white photo of two women, one standing, one seated.

Behind them is a hand-written sign reading,

“YEA – It’s a heavy trip. BUT! This is a chance to CHOOSE YOUR OWN LABEL instead of having someone else do it for you:

straight, asexual, lesbian, bisexual, anti-label, dyke separatist, ?, lesbian feminist, anti-sexual or whatever”

i can’t describe the emotions i’m feeling at seeing a 50 year old photograph mention asexuals
